Our Mission
OFDAR aims to alleviate poverty and promote sustainable development in developing nations across Africa. We wish to strengthen the capacity of local organisations and work with them to support communities and disadvantaged groups in Africa. Our goal is to fight poverty and its root causes through community-led initiatives and processes that lead to sustainable improvements in their economic & social well-being.
What We Do
OFDAR works by tackling poverty and improving the lives of local communities across Africa. We aim to support credible and effective projects with focus on the issues listed below.
Drinking Water
We support poor communities to have increased access to water through the construction of boreholes, wells and dams, and help improve water quality, sanitation, and hygiene.
Healthcare
We promote and develop public health through educating and instructing the public on the prevention & curative treatment of local health problems. We also research and document the changes in the health of communities.
Agriculture
We work locally to improve the skills of people in forestry, agriculture, and horticulture and assist in the preservation of the local environment.
Disaster Relief
We conduct an assessment of the disaster and local needs, and provide necessities of life to these victims of disaster.
